Rocky Mountain Values has unveiled a new billboard advertising campaign encouraging Coloradans to support Congressional Democrats’ efforts to continue lowering prescription drug prices for Coloradans.
The billboard copy reads: “Tell Rep. Yadira Caraveo thank you for supporting H.R. 4895 to lower prescription drug prices. Call (970) 324-2567.” The static ad will run daily on a digital display along Hwy 36 near the intersection with Hwy 287 through the end of August.
Rep. Caraveo is the co-sponsor of the legislation referenced, H.R. 4895, the Lowering Drug Costs for American Families Act. The bill would build upon the Inflation Reduction Act’s provision allowing Medicare to negotiate lower prices on the most expensive prescription drugs. It would also extend the lower prices negotiated by Medicare to all individuals with private coverage, and increase the annual number of prescription drugs eligible for negotiation from 20 to 50.
